Blancpain unveiled a new 42mm size for some of its Fifty Fathoms Automatique models, much to the acclaim of enthusiasts and collectors alike. Blancpain actually released a 42mm steel reference last year, celebrating the model’s 70th anniversary in the Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 1 limited edition model, so it really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the maison unveiled production models.
These new non-limited edition pieces are available in either red gold or titanium, with the limited edition model retaining its exclusivity in being the only reference in steel. Both references are available with a range of strap options and offer a sapphire crystal caseback to view the automatic movement through.

Breguet Announces New Look Type XX Models
Breguet revealed some fresh new looks for its Type 20 2057 Chronograph and Type XX 2067 Chronographe models last week. Very much in keeping with the models’ aesthetic, Breguet has offered a new metal bracelet for both references, made specifically for those pieces.
Additionally, and again in keeping with the ethos of the Type 20 2057 Chronograph and Type XX 2067 Chronographe models’ storied aviation history, Breguet presented some new NATO straps in sand, green and grey, adding a touch of vintage nostalgia to these references.
